BIO
I am a PhD candidate researching the taxonomy, conservation, and floral evolution of the Caladenia toxochila complex, a group of small-flowered greencomb spider orchids pollinated by sexual deception, distributed across remote areas of South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, and the ACT. My research includes using pollinator data to identify cryptic orchid taxa, combining pollinator and morphological data to revise current taxonomies, and using experimental approaches to investigate floral evolution in sexually deceptive greencomb spider orchids.
