Arsalan completed his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering, focusing heavily on logistics, scheduling, and supply chain majors. Driven by an academic commitment to efficiency modeling, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Supply Chain Management from the Australian Maritime College (AMC) at the University of Tasmania (UTAS) in 2022.
Bridging the gap between high-level theory and industry practice, Arsalan has successfully built an extensive professional portfolio alongside his academic contributions. Currently serving as a Casual academic in International Transport and Logistics at the La Trobe Business School, he leverages over a decade of hands-on industry experience. His senior corporate appointments include serving as the Head of Supply Chain for Frank Green, where he oversees global operations across ANZ, the US, and the UK, and as the ANZ Supply Chain Manager for Tyremax. Throughout his corporate career, Arsalan has specialised in spearheading Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP/IBP) frameworks, deploying advanced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integrations, and driving multimillion-dollar inventory and freight cost-efficiencies.
Arsalan's research contributions focus significantly on addressing uncertainties and operational logistics bottlenecks within mathematical modeling frameworks. He has published peer-reviewed research in leading academic outlets, including Modern Supply Chain Research and Applications and the International Journal of Industrial Engineering Computations, focusing heavily on truck-to-door sequencing, batch processing optimisation, and structural performance methodologies.
