I have a keen interest in improving women’s health through the recognition and protection of their sexual, reproductive and human rights, and integrating evidence-based research with policy and practice. My research investigates the underlying factors of severe acute maternal morbidity with a focus on violence against women, particularly intimate partner violence, and health inequalities.
