BIO

I am a biomedical scientist studying molecular biology of complex human disorders and cancer, with view of identifying novel theragnostic modalities. My ongoing research at Olivia-Newton John Cancer Research Institute primarily focus to understand cellular and molecular changes involve in breast tissue development and malignancy. I use advanced single-cell and spatial sequencing platforms to profile gene expression in breast tissue and tumor microenvironment. I also use pre-clinical mouse models for trialing novel molecular drug targets that can improve breast tissue homeostasis, improve the efficacy of current immunotherapies and prevent cancer progression and metastasis.
