Dr Angela Evans Adjunct Senior Lecturer, Podiatry

Angela Evans AM is a honorary senior lecturer at La Trobe University, clinician in Adelaide, and a volunteer research coordinator/ambassador with Walk for Life - the sustainable clubfoot project in Bangladesh. Dr Evans has many journal publications, book chapters, and authored the podiatry textbook 'Paediatrics', and the monograph series "Evidence Essentials'.

Dr Evans current research interests and investigative projects focus on the paediatric flat foot, and paediatric clubfoot. Further collaborative work and research degree supervision includes paediatric growing pains, Down syndrome foot posture, Achilles tendinopathy, footwear effects on children beginning to walk, obesity and osteoarthritis. Dr Evans' main interest is the nexus between research and clinical practice, such that paediatric patients become recipients of best available evidence based care, with unnecessary treatment and over-diagnoses averted.
