Dr Alison King Principal Research Fellow, Ctr Freshwater Ecosystems

Alison is an internationally recognised and well published aquatic ecologist, who has had a significant career as a respected researcher in both University and Government. She has broad research interests in the ecology of floodplain rivers, freshwater fish, environmental flows, fish recruitment, life-history traits, adaptations and flow-ecology relationships. She has been recognised for her scientific achievements through numerous Professional Awards and Achievements.

Alison also has a strong background of working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including scientists, policy makers, resource managers, industry sectors (fishers, farmers) and indigenous groups.
