Dr Anita Raspovic Senior Lecturer Podiatry, Podiatry

Dr Raspovic is a podiatrist who graduated with honours from La Trobe University in 1992, and went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy in 2006 and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Curriculum, Teaching and Learning in 2011. She was awarded a Graduate Diploma in Psychology in 2017 and a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours in 2018. Across her career, Dr Raspovic has undertaken a variety of roles in clinical practice, education, research and project work. She is currently a Senior Lecturer and the Course Co-ordinator at La Trobe University's Department of Podiatry. Dr Raspovic's PhD research focused on lower limb biomechanical alterations in diabetes related neuropathic foot ulceration. She has published in journals both locally and internationally, focusing in the majority on plantar pressure trials, offloading the foot in diabetes, limited joint mobility and mechanical alterations in diabetes gait. Her emerging areas of research explore psycho-social experiences of foot ulceration in diabetes.
