Ashley is a Lecturer at the Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition at La Trobe University. She completed her PhD in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Deakin University. Her PhD focused on the acceptability and feasibility of an mHealth diabetes service developed specifically for young adults with type 1 diabetes during life transitions.
Through her own lived experiences with the healthcare system and research, Ashley has developed a passion in digital health and chronic disease management. Her area of interests includes developing and integrating mHealth technology into the healthcare system and patient-centered care and quality of life around chronic disease management.
