Dr Christine Fyffe Adjunct Professor, Social Work

Chris has worked as a psychologist, director of state government community services and as an academic. For the last 15 years she has worked as an independent consultant with people with disabilities, families, non-government and government agencies, across Australia and particularly in Victoria.She is a member of the Living with Disability research program.

This work has involved research, policy development and numerous service evaluations, consultative and planning processes. She has maintained a strong focus on research and practice issues particularly for people with cognitive impairments and regularly participates in conferences and through publications. Chris' work has involved understanding the implications and possibilities of policy for people with disabilities from the perspectives of individuals living with various developmental and acquired disabilities, their families and friends and service providers, including particular issues for those in rural and regional locations.
