Chelsea Susannah Larkman Graduate Researcher, Speech Pathology

Chelsea is a Speech Pathologist and Graduate Researcher within the Centre of Research Excellence in Aphasia Recovery and Rehabilitation (Director, Professor Miranda Rose).

Chelsea is studying the feasibility and efficacy of language therapy in Chinese-speaking people with aphasia under Professor Rose. Her research interests stem from working with people with acquired communication impairments and their families along the continuum of care from intensive care through to the community.

She has particular interests in treatment effectiveness, and how therapy may need to be adapted for application to different languages and cultures.
