Corina Modderman Lecture in Social Work (Shepparton), Social Work LTRHS

Corina Modderman is a lecturer in Social Work and Social Policy at the La Trobe Rural Health School, Albury/Wodonga campus. Her academic role is informed by extensive international experience in the field of statutory and community based child protection. Corina has developed a broad range of expertise in social work, having practiced in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Australia. Her direct practice experience is evidenced through senior leadership roles and she graduated from the Institute of Management and Leadership (UK) in July 2009. Corina's research interests include pressing challenges facing contemporary social work across a diverse and changing world: child protection, migration, Indigenous children and family violence. She is currently enrolled in a PhD which explores transnational social workers in statutory child protection service delivery.
