Daniel Wundersitz is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with Latrobe University in Bendigo Australia. He brings to his current role many years experience as a lecturer, academic tutor, researcher, and as a biomechanist at the Clinical Gait Analysis Service (Monash Health). His current role entails lecturing in biomechanics (2nd and 3rd year Latrobe students) and researching in exercise physiology and biomechanics.
Daniel originally studied exercise and sport science at Deakin University and completed his honours and PhD in biomechanics examining the validity and utility aspects of wearable technologies in team sports. His research interests are now also focused on applications of machine learning to sports for improved quantification of workloads. In addition, he is an active researcher in exercise physiology, physical activity and clinical/pathological domains (e.g. Parkinson's disease, obesity, elderly, sports pathology, etc.).
