Dr Eve Merton Adjunct Research Fellow, Inst for Human Security

Eve Merton is a Research Programs Associate in the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), where she supports and coordinates research engagement and collaboration, to deliver on the University research agenda, strategic priorities and research partnerships, including with researchers across all sites of the University and all communities in which the University operates. She facilitates interdisciplinary research and builds relationships with academic staff, faculties, affiliated centres and other institutions and external stakeholders (including government and industry), in Australia and internationally. She also works with the Manager, Higher Education Policy, to provide high-quality policy advice to the university executive.

Eve has a professional background in science, technical and medical (STM) editing, writing and research. She has worked in the private sector in journal publishing (Blackwell Publishing Asia, now Wiley) and as a consultant for government, non-government and private organisations in the production of STM publications.
