Enrique (Eric) Cruz is a nursing lecturer at the La Trobe - Alfred Hospital Clinical School and is the subject chairperson for Nursing Patients with Chronic Illness. He is also a clinical nurse consultant at the acquired brain injury (ABI) rehabilitation centre at Caulfield Hospital: the state-wide referral service for moderate to catastrophic and transport accident-related brain injuries in Victoria. He holds a master’s degree in public health, major in epidemiology with a research focus on municipal reproductive health program design and implementation. He has been a contributing author of a public health nursing textbook and an adapting editor of a medical-surgical nursing textbook. At present, he is a PhD candidate with a research focus on the clinical utility of neurostimulation to enhance the rehabilitation of neurogenic incontinence post-stroke.
