Dr Jean Rumbold Honorary Associate, Art Therapy

Jean has experience as a counselling psychologist and family therapist, a background in secondary and tertiary teaching, and has worked as a consultant to organisations in leadership development and team-building. She currently supervises higher degree research students in LaTrobe's School of Public health, and at the Melbourne Institute of Experiential and Creative Arts Therapy (MIECAT). Current research interests include arts and health, and the lived experience of illness and disability. She is particularly interested in participatory inquiry paradigm and cooperative research, and in arts-based methodologies for research.
