Dr Helena Menih Lecturer, Criminology (T&R), Crime,Justice & Legal Studies

Helena Menih is Lecturer in Criminology in Crime, Justice and Legal Studies in the Social Inquiry Department. She is a graduate of Griffith University, with a Masters of Criminology with Honours (2010), and a PhD in Criminology (2015).
Helena also holds a Bachelor of Socio-cultural Anthropology from the University of Primorska (Koper, Slovenia), and has extensive experience working with women experiencing domestic violence and other vulnerabilities. Her chief research interest is exploring intimate and domestic gender-based violence, and the broader societal impacts of this (i.e. homelessness and family law).
