Dr Joan Barclay Lloyd Lloyd Academic, History

After teaching art history from 1980-2006, Joan Barclay Lloyd retired. She continues to do research on medieval art and architecture in Rome and she has published a study on the stained glass windows of St Patrick's Cathedral, Melbourne.

Joan holds a number of visiting and honorary positions: Fellow of the Australian Academy for the Humanities; Research Fellow of the British School at Rome; Adjunct Professor at the Australian Catholic University; member of the Pierre Goursat institute.
