Kylie is a lecturer and researcher in the Occupational Therapy Program at the La Trobe Rural Health School in Bendigo. Kylie currently teaches within core subjects of the program, with a primary focus on skills and concepts classes relating to occupational science and rehabilitation. Her professional interests include trauma/posttraumatic growth, military research, occupational science, and rural health and well-being. Kylie is a reviewer for the Australian Occupational Therapy Journal, British Journal of Occupational Therapy, and Rural Sociology. She has been a member of the College of Science Health and Engineering Human Research Ethics Committee since 2015. Her innovative doctoral research explores the influence of meaningful activity on health and psychosocial adjustment during the transition from military service to civilian life.
