Dr Kerry Fanson Tracey Banivanua Mar Research Fellow, Physiology Anatomy & Microbiology

Dr Kerry Fanson runs the Wildlife Endocrinology Lab at La Trobe University. Her research examines the dynamic interactions between stress and reproduction, with a particular focus on understanding the role of glucocorticoids. Her lab uses a combination of non-invasive hormone monitoring and molecular techniques to understand how hormones shape animal physiology and behaviour with the aim of improving the conservation of endangered species, the welfare of captive animals, and our broader understanding of animal physiology.
