Dr Katherine Griffiths Honorary Research Fellow, Biochemistry

Dr Kate Griffiths is a Senior Scientist at AdAlta and is one of the inventors of AdAlta's core intellectual property relating to the shark and i-body libraries. Kate has extensive experience in phage display and library screening, as well as in protein engineering and protein chemistry. She also has experience in conjugating antibody fragments to nanoparticles and cubosomes for medical imaging applications. Kate completed her PhD in The School of Botany at the University of Melbourne in 2003 investigating the molecular genetics of fungicide resistance and sterol biosynthesis and then completed postdoctoral work with the CRC for Diagnostics. Kate is focused on the development of the AdAlta shark and i-body libraries and the discovery of novel binders from these libraries for both internal and external projects.
