Associate Professor Katie Wright Associate Professor, Sociology, Sociology

Katie Wright conducts historically focused sociological research across three intersecting areas: public inquiries into historical abuse; childhood and education; and the social and cultural influence of psychological knowledge. She is currently undertaking an ARC funded study of public inquiries into childhood maltreatment and she leads the collaborative digital project, The Age of Inquiry: A global mapping of abuse inquiries. Previously, with Prof Julie McLeod (Melbourne), she completed an ARC funded study of adolescence, citizenship and schooling in the mid-twentieth century.
