Dr Connie Koklanis Lecturer, Orthoptics

Dr Konstandina (Connie) Koklanis is the Head of the Discipline of Orthoptics. She is actively involved in teaching and coordinating a number of subjects within the program with a particular interest in using innovative teaching methods in her classes. In alignment with her teaching, Connie's research spans from investigating best practice in the care of patients with ocular disorders to investigating innovations in models of service delivery.

Connie also has extensive links in industry, being the co-manger of eye services at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne and having taken on various roles within the professional association including President and Vice President of Orthoptics Australia and Australian Representative of the International Orthoptic Association.
