Matthew King Graduate Researcher, Physiotherapy

Matthew King is a Physiotherapist, and PhD candidate at the La Trobe University Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre. Matthew graduated as a physiotherapist with first class Honours in 2011 from La Trobe University.

Matthew's PhD is in the area of biomechanics of hip-related pain, and he is especially interested in the identification and treatment of individuals at risk of developing persistent pain and/or arthritis.

Matthew is a current panel member if the International Hip-Related Pain Research Network (IHPRN), a collaborative organisation of clinicians and researchers with a special interest treating young active individuals with hip pain. In addition to this, Matthew also holds current appointments as a member of the TAC Clinical Panel and the Victorian branch of Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy Australia.
