Michael Moignard Graduate Researcher, History

Michael is a PhD student in the Department of Archaeology and History. His thesis is entitled: 'The Best Art Collection Possible: Art Collectors and their Collections Between the Wars'
He obtained a Master of Science degree from Melbourne University in 1975, a Diploma of education from La Trobe university in 1976, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from ANU in 1988. His Honours topic considered the life and influence of art critic and Museum Director, James MacDonald.
Michael spent over 35 years in the Commonwealth Public Service. For 20 years he was a Trade Commissioner with the Australian Trade Commission, where he served in the USA, South America,South Est Asia and India.
