Dr Marina Larsson Adjunct Research Fellow, History

Dr Marina Larsson is an award-winning Melbourne historian who has held lecturing positions at La Trobe and Monash Universities. She is the author of Shattered Anzacs: Living with the Scars of War (UNSW Press, 2009) a study which explores the impact of war disability on First World War returned soldiers and their families. This book was shortlisted for several literary awards. Marina's research interests include repatriation history, disability history, the social history of health and illness, the history of the family, public history and heritage. In 2014 Marina was a researcher for Museum Victoria's centenary exhibition World War I: Love and Sorrow, and a historical advisor for the ABC documentary The War that Changed Us.
