I have extensive experience in teaching introductory Statistics units to undergraduate and postgraduate students in different fields of studies. Up to recent years, my research interest was in the application of statistics in medical and health issues. I have been the biostatistician consultant for the National Health and Medical Research Council NHMRC, National Institute of Clinical Studies NICS providing consultancy to PMI Pain Management Initiative sector of the organisation from 2009 to 2011. During 2012-2014 I did some research into the effects of environmental and lifestyle factors on emergency department presentation for asthma in children. As a result, a journal article is published in the Journal of Allergy. In Dec 2018 I was offered a secondment from my current position of Lecturer to the position of Lecturer (Teaching Focussed). Since then I have submitted one Scholarly article to the International Journal of Education in Mathematics, Science and Technology (IJEMST).
