Dr Natalie Amos Research Officer, Aust Res Ctr Sex Hlth&Soc

Natalie is a Research Officer with the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society. Natalie’s role with ARCSHS involves the analysis and interpretation of data from recent population-based health and wellbeing surveys among LGBTIQ+ young people (Writing Themselves In 4) and adults (Private Lives 3). Natalie is also supporting the work of the Asia Pacific MSM Internet Survey project.

Natalie completed a PhD in Psychology at Deakin University in 2015 focusing on self-perceptions of sexual attractiveness and genital appearance and sexual wellbeing across gender and sexual orientation. Prior to joining ARCSHS, Natalie was a Research Fellow within the Department of General Practice, Monash University. In this role, she contributed to and led projects relating to contraceptive knowledge and uptake and mental health in the primary care setting.
