Naomi Tootell is currently coordinating the Sidney Myer-funded project, 'Improving educational outcomes for young people in out-of-home care'. She was initially employed at the Centre in 2015 to work on the National Priorities Pool project, 'The adaptation of tertiary admissions practices to growth and diversity'. Naomi has previously worked on various ARC and government-commissioned research projects at the University of Melbourne and Charles Darwin University. She is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the University of South Australia, where her research focus is on the decolonising potential of creative collaborations between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in contemporary Australia.
