Pam Kennedy Level B Res Fellow, Rainbow Tick Program, Aust Res Ctr Sex Hlth&Soc

Pam joined GLHV@ARCSHS in 2015 to work in the Rainbow Tick Program, further developing the program and facilitating the uptake of best practice LGBTI service provision in health and human services. She has a passion for quality improvement, systems and translating research into practice.
For the past ten years, Pam led and managed accreditation and quality-related programs in health and human services, at QICSA and then QIP. Her interest in quality frameworks which help organisations to address health inequalities and promote equity, social justice and better health and wellbeing outcomes for consumers led to her involvement in the development of the Rainbow Tick Standards, and the subsequent accreditation program conducted by Quality Innovation Performance. Pam worked closely with GLHV as the program developed and gained a unique insight – through accreditation processes – into the challenges and benefits of LGBTI-inclusive practice across a range of service types and sectors, including aged care.
Prior to her work in accreditation and quality improvement, Pam worked in a number of jurisdictions across a range of health settings, in management and leadership positions and as a physiotherapist.
