  • Huttenlocher and Presson's (1973) method and apparatus were used to study rotation and perspective tasks in 42 7–8- and 9–10-yr.-old children. The study was designed to investigate the effects of different stimulus dimensions. The stimulus dimensions used were colour, size, and colour and size combined. The results generally supported Huttenlocher and Presson (1973) but indicated differences between visible and hidden aspects of the tasks.
