  • Sorption of the endocrine-disrupting chemical 17beta-estradiol (E(2)) from aqueous solutions to goethite, an iron oxide, and the clay minerals kaolinite, illite, and montmorillonite (K and Ca forms) was measured at 25 degrees C.
