Dr Richard PetersSenior Lecturer, Ecology, Environment & Evolution
Richard is Group Leader of the Animal Behaviour Group (ABG) at La Trobe University. Research in the ABG covers broad interests in animal behaviour, with both theoretical and applied benefits. Particular attention is paid to the evolution of animal signals in the light of sensory system function and evolutionary processes covering vibratory, acoustic and movement-based visual signals. Study systems include lizards, frogs, birds, insects and arachnids and takes place across Australia as well as in China and Ecuador.
Full details about Richard's research activities can be found at the ABG's website - www.peterslab.info.
