Rachel Cross Lecturer, Nursing, Nursing

Rachel Cross is a Lecturer at La Trobe University in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Rachel is located at the Alfred La Trobe Clinical School. Rachel is an experienced emergency and trauma nurse and throughout her career has held varying leadership and educational positions. Rachel's research area of interest is patient safety in the transition of nursing care. Rachel is currently undertaking her PhD examining the transition of patient care from the emergency department to the ward with a specific focus on clinical deterioration and clinical handover. Rachel is a member of the Victorian Branch for the College of Emergency Nurses Australasia (CENA) and is the former National CENA Trauma Nursing Program (CENA TNP) Lead.
