Dr Rhylee SulekPostdoctoral Research Fellow, Autism Research Centre
Dr Rhylee Sulek is a postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre (OTARC) and Victorian Autism Specific Early Learning and Care Centre (ASELCC). Dr Sulek’s current research focuses on evaluating developmental outcomes for children receiving group-based early intervention, with a particular interest in the transition from early intervention/education into school.
Dr Sulek completed her PhD in Allied Health Sciences at Griffith University in 2019. This project investigated transitions to school for children with autism, with a focus on teacher understanding and use of autism specific evidence-based practices. Prior to her current role, Dr Sulek was involved in establishing a multi-disciplinary research group working with a group of schools and early intervention providers to improve school entry outcomes for developmentally vulnerable children in the community. She has also previously worked in early intervention, supporting children in both one-on-one and group-based learning environments.
