Sumina Shrestha is a Graduate Researcher in the Department of Australian Institute of Primary Care and Ageing under School of Nursing and Midwifery. Her current research project focuses on impact on health of the older people due to multilingual care encounter in aged care settings. Her research interest is influenced by the multicultural environment including the flow of immigrants in Australia. She is particularly interested in the multicultural workforce and the care-receiver in the aged care centres. Her academic background is Public Health and has involved in research in different aspects of public health like ageing, child health (immunization and malnutrition), substance abuse, domestic violence and reproductive health including infertility in Nepal. She is acquainted with descriptive and analytical study designs.
