Dr Simon Bury Postdoctoral Research Officer, Autism Research Centre

Simon received his PhD (Clinical Psychology) from Flinders University in 2017, and his Bachelor of psychological science from the University of Adelaide in 2013. His PhD was on the development of a new theoretical approach to ‘hope’. His current research interests include autism employment and mental health, social challenges and assessment, and the interaction of social and clinical psychology (e.g., autism identity). Simon is a registered psychologist, with experience working with children and adults with autism, trauma, and conducting psychoeducation assessments.
