Todd Pickering Graduate Researcher, Sports and Exercise Science

Todd Pickering is a graduate research student working across disciplines of sport and exercise science and psychology. His research interests are how cognitive processes can influence sporting behaviours in both elite athletes and everyday exercisers. Todd completed his Honours thesis at Swinburne University, looking at the effect that sports video games could have on developing sporting decision-making skills. His current PhD at La Trobe University has switched track slightly, focusing now on the influence of cognitive fatigue on physical performance. Todd also has several years of research assistant experience at Monash University's BASE Sleep Research Laboratory.
