Dr Victoria Weale Lecturer, Ergonomics, Health&Safety

Victoria is a lecturer at the Centre for Ergonomics and Human Factors. She teaches Ergonomics, Safety and Health subjects for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. She is a qualified occupational psychologist and previously worked for the UK Health and Safety Executive's Health and Safety Laboratory where she was involved in a number of research projects across different industry sectors.

Victoria was recently awarded a PhD. The topic of her thesis was work–life interaction and health and wellbeing outcomes for workers in the residential aged care sector.

Victoria's research interests include the effects of work–life interaction (work–life balance and work–family conflict) on employee health and wellbeing, and health and wellbeing at work generally.
