Deepika Ratnaike has over 20 years’ experience in mental health research, evaluation and program delivery in public health and primary care as well as within the acute treatment setting. She has a specialist interest in early intervention, consumer centred care, collaborative care, collaborative recovery models, suicide prevention, help seeking, clinical care models and psychosocial support programs. Deepika has extensive experience in internal and external evaluation of complex mental health and social service programs in primary, secondary and tertiary settings with government funded and community managed organisations. She has been involved in developing, reviewing, evaluating and researching a wide range of service models and system-level improvement interventions across mental health including early intervention and stepped care, suicide prevention, public health, social welfare, homelessness, and community development. Models have included face to face service delivery, centralised as well as hub and spoke models, online and digital service offerings.
