David Turnbull is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) and Mental Health Clinician with more than  decade of experience working across community, rural and regional mental health settings. He currently works with the Royal Flying Doctor Service Victoria, providing mental health assessment, counselling and therapeutic interventions to people living in rural Victorian communities.

David completed a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) at Deakin University in 2017. His Honours research, Community Social Inclusion for Mental Health Consumers: The Role of the Peer Support Group, explored how mental health peer support can facilitate social inclusion, social confidence and connection with the wider community.
