Dr Emma Zadow is an Exercise Scientist and Lecturer with the Rural Health School at La Trobe University. Dr Zadow graduated with her PhD "Promoting Athlete Health and Performance: The Role of Haemostatic Changes in Response to Exercise" at the University of Tasmania in 2018. Prior to commencing her PhD at UTAS, Dr Zadow completed her undergraduate Bachelor's degrees in Sport and Exercise Science at Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia.

Dr Zadow's research interests include improving athletic performance, whilst also investigating haemostatic responses (i.e. blood clots) to exercise, and the prevention of blood clot risk within an athletic population. Dr Zadow has provided exercise science services to the Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS), Western Australian Cricket Academy (WACA), Tasmanian Institute of Sport (TIS), Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), Cavaliers Netball Club (Tasmanian Netball League) and the Casey Demons Netball Club (Victorian Netball League), and has assisted with research completed with the Perth Wildcats (NBL), Perth Heat (Baseball) and the Australian Institute of Sport.

Dr Zadow is establishing her research portfolio will collaborations established with the AIS, Swinburne University of Technology, University of Tasmania, Edith Cowan University, Griffith University, Victoria University and Griffith University.
