BIO
I am an ARC DECRA Fellow with a passion for understanding the molecular mechanisms regulating plant nutrient transport. My previous research at the University of Melbourne focused on the impact of phosphate availability on plant growth, and during my PhD at the University of Lausanne, I studied how phosphate deficiency affects plant herbivory resistance. I have received international recognition for my research and have secured over $1 million in grants as a lead investigator. Alongside my research, I am committed to delivering high-quality teaching, with experience in teaching undergraduate, honours, and postgraduate courses and a track record of success. I have published extensively in high-quality outlets and have developed research collaborations and partnerships across the globe. As a supervisor, I have experience in guiding honours, masters, and PhD research projects and am eager to continue mentoring the next generation of scientists. I have open Master and PhD positions available in my lab and welcome inquiries from interested applicants.
