BIO
In my role as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Public Health I am involved in research in my areas of research interest (see the research tab) and publication of the research outputs. I also supervise Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students (Dr Public Health); PhD) and I have availability to supervise future HDR students whose proposed projects fall within my areas of research interest. In my previous role (Lecturer in the Department of Public Health) my learning and teaching responsibilities centred on the co-ordination and delivery of several undergraduate subjects, taken by students studying a variety of courses across the University. These included subjects which deal with the following: public health programs and evaluation; nutrition; gerontology; and the integration of evidence into health practice. The subject that deals with evidence-based practice is a multi-disciplinary subject taken by most allied health students.
