My current research focus includes the following questions:
1) What are the drivers of freshwater turtle declines, and what are the impacts of their decline on freshwater systems?
2) How can community-led conservation initiatives supplement traditional government-led approaches?
3) What are the most cost-effective ways to prevent native species extinction?
4) What is the role of reproductive disruption in endangered species declines?
