Dr. Lu Yu is a Research Fellow at the Australian Centre for AI in Medical Innovation (ACAMI) at La Trobe University, Australia. She received her PhD in Computer Science from James Cook University in 2024. Her research spans generative AI, explainable AI, AI for scientific and medical discovery, with a focus on developing efficient and interpretable AI models for computer vision and healthcare applications. Her work has been published in leading AI and computer vision venues, including ICLR, NeurIPS, CVPR, TMM, and Pattern Recognition.
