RESEARCH INTERESTS
• Developing diagnostic biomarkers and blood-based tests for neurodegenerative diseases and other conditions
• The role of extracellular vesicles in neurodegenerative diseases
• Capturing and characterising subpopulations of extracellular vesicles in biological fluids which can be applied to various types of samples
• Understanding the content and uptake of extracellular vesicles in the brain that could be applied to improve therapeutic delivery to the brain
• Understanding how extracellular vesicles can cross the blood brain barrier to the periphery
