I graduated (in 2011) from The University of York (England). My research primarily focuses on problems arising in Diophantine Approximation (number theory), Dynamical Systems, and their interactions.

The quality of my research has been recognised by several awards, including the SCEMS mid-career research award (2022), an Australian Research Council Discovery Project (2020-2023, see the Research tab), and an Endeavour Fellowship (2016) by the Department of Education and Training.

In recognition of my contributions to student learning, I received the "2023- SCEMS Teaching Excellence" La Trobe University and “2016 Award for Teaching Excellence and Contribution to Student Learning – Individual” from the Faculty of Science and IT, The University of Newcastle.

I am the former President (2017-2019) and General Secretary (2015-2017) of the Number Theory Down Under, and I am currently an Associate Editor of the Bulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society.
