I am a social anthropologist working professionally as a consultant in social justice and human development contexts.

My main academic research interests are situated in an intersection fields of social, philosophical and psychological anthropology with ethnographic foci on existential and sensory experiences and performance.

My publications have engaged with ethnography of lived experience as phenomenological and existential enquires, composed of oneiric, affective, sensory and performing forms. I studied lived experience in relation to belief, local philosophy, knowledge and healing systems and in association to imposed social circumstances and encounters where intersubjectivity and perceptions are critical departing points. I explored theoretical themes of equilibrium, liminality, paradox, ambiguity, pragmatism and uncertainty in relation to modes of action and being.

I have a background in visual and performing arts, design, and literary criticism. I am also interested in public and humanistic anthropology, anthropology of performance and theatre, and ethnographic and applied theatre.
