Dr. Mayank Arora is a Joint Degree PhD researcher with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and La Trobe University (Australia). His work lies at the intersection of smart grids, peer-to-peer energy trading, and cybersecurity for energy systems, focusing on resilient pricing and secure energy market frameworks.

Alongside his research, he has experience delivering lectures, tutorials, and laboratory classes, as well as marking and academic support for engineering and IT subjects. He is committed to research-informed teaching and creating practical learning environments that strengthen technical skills, critical thinking, and professional readiness.

Dr. Arora’s research has been recognised through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations, including a Best Paper Award (IBSSC 2021).

He also contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for leading journals and conferences, including IEEE, Elsevier, and Springer Nature.
