Matt Felicetti is a dedicated educator and researcher at La Trobe University's Bendigo campus, specialising in robotics, electronics and artificial intelligence. He holds a PhD in randomised artificial intelligence for industrial applications and a bachelor’s degree in computer systems engineering with top honours. Matt's academic excellence has been recognised with prestigious awards such as the David Myers Medal and Nancy Millis Medal. As a lecturer, Matt teaches and coordinates a range of subjects, including Robotic System Design, Advanced Research, Advanced Engineering Innovation and Ideas for Innovation. Further, he plays a pivotal role in enhancing the engineering capstone program. His research focuses on leveraging randomised algorithms to address complex challenges in industrial settings. Moreover, Matt actively collaborates on a multitude of research and development initiatives with the RAMPS R&D group, dedicated to crafting innovative solutions for industry-specific problems. Furthermore, he holds the title of Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and fulfils the role of Associate Editor for the renowned journal, Industrial Artificial Intelligence.
